Show Me State Games 2016 - Ultimate Frisbee.
July 2016. It was time to defend our back-to-back titles, and this year, we were feeling really good. We had a solid defense, plays to run on offense, and numbers. Lots of numbers.
Day 1 started started, and finished strong, going 5 - 0 on the day. Things may have gotten a little heated in one of our games, but our strong defense and efficient offense ruled the day. The biggest obstacle was the sun and the humidity.
Day 2 picked up right where day 1 left off. The weather tossed a wrench into our game plan by bringing some rain, and plenty of wind. But after a few very long points, we were able to overcome. We once again went undefeated for the day, and was once again, victorious.
